If you have been following my blog then you know I love any reason to entertain. I’ve got to tell you… I’ve never felt the urge to throw a party more than after this fridged, never-ending January we just endured here in Kansas. It was a rough month and cabin fever started to set in. The only way to escape the inevitable indoors was to deck out our place and try to imagine I was somewhere else. So needless to say I was ELATED to host my high school friends for our annual get-together and deck it out I did.
Back story: My high school friends and I have been getting together for what we call “Girls Christmas” for the last ten years. It’s a night that we look forward to all year, everyone comes home, no one misses. We eat, we drink, we blast the greatest hits from 2005 (our graduating year) and every party is one to remember. It was my turn to host but this year was a busy holiday season for all of us and plus, we were waiting for the arrival of a sweet new baby in our group. So, our date kept getting pushed back. Enter the month of February, enter Galentine’s Party, enter my saving grace: Pink Antler Studio.
Entertaining can be a little daunting but having a place like Pink Antler Studio in your back pocket makes the experience so much more enjoyable. This sweet little shop has everything you need to make your party beautiful. It’s been a go-to for me since it opened just over three years ago. I love that it’s family owned, (by three darling sisters and their sweet mom) and that I can find the most original and trendy party decor. Every time I come here I get loads of inspiration and their seasonal stock is always a crowd pleaser.
I was so glad I stopped by to see what they had and I totally cleaned up! Must-haves for me were their delicate heart garlands, heart-shaped balloon kit, cocktail stirrers, and paper dinnerware.
In addition to party decor they have the most incredible smelling candles and I’m always surprised by the array of unique gifts.
I was eager to get all of my finds home to start decorating.
I love using packaged decor in different creative ways.
This year was one of my favorites to date. I loved making the night extra special for some of my favorite girls.
Until next time,
Melissa
